I recently had the opportunity to watch the Halifax Rainmen play a basketball game against Quebec. And while the Rainmen lost, it was a great game.

Even more exciting thou, was getting to see the Park View Panthers take on the Sir John A. MacDonald Flames. Watching them play in the Metro Centre was really exciting. It was the first time I had seen the Panthers play this year, and I was impressed with their skills. In fact, I think either team might have been able to give the Rainmen a run for their money.

If you find yourself with nothing to do on a Friday night, I urge you to check out the Lumberjacks website to see if they’re playing. What great hockey!

Well they sure are silly. You’ll find all kinds of words that don’t even exist, but they’re great for learning how to sound out letter sounds. I love them. I especially love saying words like fantabulous and poopy-pants.
