STILL MORE KINDNESS!!!
5:48 pm | Comments Off |My e-mail inbox has been flooded with such special acts of kindness. It is AMAZING! WELL DONE. I think we deserve an A+. E-mail me at kindnesscaper@gmail.com if you got an act of kindness and tell me about it.
I heard from Austin:
- I got a pack of gun at my desk. I can’t chew it cause i got braces, but it was cool anyway.it speld good. then i gave it to my friend.
I heard from Kristen:
- I got a colouring book and crayons in the mail today. I think they are from my nan but she says not. No i will take my neighbors doggie for a walk but i don’t think he can spread kindness. maybe he just won’t poop. lol
This is from Jennifer:
- I was just tickled to receive this sweet bookmark in the mail, last week. Thank you Kindness Caper!
I have also sent some kindness out into the universe. I would suggest you have the blurb somewhere on the blog so we can print off a copy. I’d like to do another….but would like to have the original wording/note.
Thanks for making my day!
I think this person has a point. I should put the card here for you to send more acts of kindness. I just put it here and you can print the words on a piece of paper because i’m not really good yet.
Thank you and keep it going peeps!
The Kindness Caper is on the attack,
And wants nothing in return, only that you attack back.
Find someone who needs encouragement, or whose day has gone wrong.
Show them some kindness and send this card along.
A small gesture, a flower, your time or a smile,
It doesn’t have to cost much but the results last awhile.
They’ll do the same and we’ll start a trend.
You’ll all know that you’re loved and that you’ve got a friend.
Go to southshorenow.ca/kindness and watch the kindness grow.

So much kindness!
10:04 pm | Comments Off |It is so nice to see my little experiment in action, my social experiment that is.
This is not about me. It is about you. It is about what it feels like to give and to get. It feels good to get something new or to think that someone out there thought to do something nice for you.
I gave out a few surprises in the past couple of days and I think that I feel better than they do getting it. Just try it and you will see that I am right about this.
All of these people got to feel special because they got something special in the mail or at the desk that they work at:
- Tim Reeves-Horton emailed to say: The Kindness Caper people have struck! An anonymous note was left on my desk with … packages of hot chocolate. Someone’s going to pay for this brazen act of kindness! I think it was some guy named Mahatma … .
(Thank you)
- Laura Says:
I arrived home today, to a potted plant on my door stop with this note attached. I really need some vibrant colour in my life right now. What a wonderful and unexpected surprise.
Do onto others…I love this idea. Thank you.
- JA Says:
I think I know who you are caper. I saw you leave a tea at my desk.
Your secret is safe with me. Thank you.
- Carol Says:
What a great surprise at my work station this morning. These spring bulbs will be planted in my new garden in the next few weeks. I am going to have a great day today. Thanks caper, I loved your “uplifting, surprise attack. CW
- Carolyn Says:
Before this blog started I had a kindness caper bestowed upon me by a work colleague…A kind work colleague had brought in a bag of goodies left over from a party and asked if my kids would like them. This was a lovely surprise for them and they did appreciate it…
I’d also like to say thanks to my friends D & M who are always a great support and confidantes – these kindnesses are priceless and they come freely and regularly and always.
C xx
- Tina Says: When you give, you always get. I gave a colleague a small token of my thanks this morning, and then, this afternoon, my sister-in-law brought me back the most amazing coffee from the Cayman Islands.
- Angie Says:
I too had a nice surprise at my desk this morning. An envelope with my daughter’s name on it. How lovely! She is going to love planting the sunflower seeds that were inside and watch them grow! I can’t wait to explain the kindness caper and see if she can come up with a “kindness” for someone else ![]()
Isn’t that cool?
Keep on spreading kindness, everyone.
